To teach music is to teach humanity. I strongly believe that every single individual has a natural musical instinct and inclination for artistic expression. As a music educator, my teaching philosophy is guided by the commitment to respect and encourage each student’s unique artistic voice by nurturing a lifelong appreciation for music and the arts.

Through my lessons, students build a strong foundation of technical skills and artistic creativity, informed by a solid understanding of music theory, music history, and pianistic facilities. I believe it is my utmost responsibility to tailor repertoire and assignments to meet and motivate each student’s abilities and ambitions.

I understand the importance of delivering clear, concise, and encouraging feedback, and I use each touchpoint—from one-on-one lessons, to group classes, and beyond—to support each student in their consistent musical growth while fostering an inclusive, welcoming, and open environment.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in nurturing each student’s growth as an artist, with an ultimate goal of inspiring and supporting their bourgeoning appreciation for music and the arts.
